The Home and Community Education (HCE) of the University of Illinois Extension will hold a fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 11, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Goreville School Cafeteria.
The chili supper will be held prior to the basketball game beween the Vienna Eagles and the Goreville Blackcats.
The menu will include traditional chili, white chicken chili, cornbread, beverages and homemade desserts. Hot dogs will also be available.
Tickets are available at both schools and from members of the Johnson County HCE.
The event will serve as a fundraiser for community projects provided by the HCE. The public is urged to come out for great food and an evening of entertaining basketball of the two county high schools.
